• I’ve inherited a WordPress site that uses Fotografie Blocks and Elementor. All pages can be edited with Elementor except the “Front Page”. The Front Page can only be edited with WordPress Site Editor. This makes it difficult to keep the Front Page design the same as all other pages.

A “Home” static page has been created (just like the other regular pages). But even after Settings > Reading > A static page > Homepage = Home the domain still displays the “Front Page”. What’s also odd is after making this change going to the /home url (which used to show the static page) redirects to / and shows the “Front Page”.

Is there a way to edit the “Front Page” with Elementor or is there a way to replace the “Front Page” with a static “Home” page?

    Thank you!

    Fixed!

Front Page has been replaced with the static Home Page.
Settings > Reading > Your homepage displays > A static page > Home

In Appearance > Editor > Pages: The home page icon is alongside the label “Home”.

When trying to edit the home page with Elementor I get error:
“The content area was not found in your page”.

    Appearance > Editor > Templates > Pages
The template has a content block.

Appearance > Editor > Templates > Front Page
The template has a Custom HTML block only.
Delete the Custom HTML block and add a content block.
    Content block
