When I first installed WooCommerce, I got rid of the little cart icon because I didn’t want it to be present while I was still uploading products/getting all that set up. Now that everything is set up, I can’t find the original cart icon that simply leads to the cart page… There are a few blocks you can add, but none of them seem to be quite right. I just want a simple icon that leads to the checkout page. There’s “cart,” “mini-cart,” “mini-cart (pattern),” and “classic cart.” None of them function in a normal way–they all show the visitor’s actual cart contents on the main page automatically with no way to minimize it, with the exception of “mini-cart,” which doesn’t link to anything at all. It shows the cart contents but it there’s no way to check out from there. This isn’t the experience I want people to have at all! Can someone please point me in the right direction towards having a functional cart icon in the upper right hand corner? Just a normal one like every other online shop?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I’m not familiar with building with blocks, but you have your blocks all congested, sorta into one another. Not flexed correctly in 3 columns. I can see the cart but I can’t see how it’s hiding.

What did you do to hide it? You said you turned it off or something.

    Hi Stef-

    Thanks for your reply.

After making my original post here, I used one of the blocks not as intended: there’s a way to edit the way it appears when there is something in the cart vs. when there is nothing in the cart. I simply removed all the blocks from the “empty cart” view. It is a workaround and probably appears clunky…

I don’t remember off the top of my head which block I used, but I think it’s the “mini-cart.”

I reread your reply and realized you might have been asking me what I did to remove the cart in the first place–with the block editor, you can just remove and insert elements with a couple clicks. So I did that to temporarily remove it, thinking I would be able to insert it again just as easily.

The current setup I use came later–I only set it up a couple days ago.

    Hi @carsssson

It sounds like you want to add a mini cart icon to your header, right? This icon will display the product count in the cart and even the total price. When a customer clicks on it, they can see the cart details. If my understanding is correct, you can add the Mini Cart block to your header. You can then customize the icon through the block setting. More info: https://woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-blocks-configuration/#mini-cart

I hope this helps! Please let us know how it goes or if you need further assistance.
