[Plugin: WP Survey And Quiz Tool] Plugin update have a bug

I’m also having an issue, downloaded the plugin today and cannot add questions.

Plugin install is fine, add new quiz, add sections, once the sections are saved I have no option other options. The quiz name does not appear, so cannot add questions. It just takes me back to the start, add new quiz/survey page.

Any help would be great

That is not a helpful bug report. Is it blowing up random passer-bys? Is it deleting all your posts?

I’ve noticed a bunch of bugs today since the update was quite a major one with nearly everything being changed in some way or another. So there has been 3 releases today, if you’ve tried on anything less than 1.3.2 then please update and try again. If you are on that version or it keeps continuing to fail then please provide more data such as what the quiz name is what settings you choose etc.

Upgraded to 1.3.2 and things improved, but still can’t add questions.

Add new quiz, add new quiz called Sushi & Sashimi, All settings on no or none apart from enable quiz and show results. Save Options, Add a section, called Sushi & Sashimi part 1, medium difficulty, 2 questions, ascending order. Then nothing happens, same as before.
But, now when I click on quiz/survey It has saved the quiz! then click questions, it tells me I have no questions, click add question and this sends me to a totally blank page.
Any help would be great, I’m more than happy to give you more info if needed.

Update.

I added an field to the form under quiz options and I think this has solved the issue. I have got as far as the add question screen anyway. I’ll keep you informed.

I’ve just figured out what the problem is. I when I updated the mysql table structure I forgot to change the install sql. So the SQL tables are incorrect. Please wait and I’ll quickly change the tables and reupload.

It might also be useful to note that the add question button below the question area takes you to the blank page, the one above takes you to the add question form.

I’m usin the WP survey and quiz tool which I find to be excellent. I just have one problem – I can’t seem to use single quotes in any of the questions. Is there some escape character that can be used to stop rubbish characters being put e.g. if I have a question with the word “aunt’s”, it will appear as “auntá” and the rest of the sentence is truncated. Thanks.

Thanks for getting back. I was getting the problem when I was cutting and pasting, words with apostrophes in them, from the backend of another website. I have deleted entries for those particular questions, input new questions and this time I type any word that uses an apostrophe. Does the trick.
