Mobile Menu Not Showing

Good Morning, I am trying to build a small website for a friend. While I am generally savvy enough to fake my way through problems…this one has me stumped.

I am using the ‘Hello-Elementor’ theme, and everything is up to date there. Friend loves the site, but we quickly realized the mobile menu doesn’t really show up on smaller devices.

Easy enough, I will use a plugin. The responsive mobile menu plugin creates a great mobile menu, but does not hide the theme menu. Although the theme’s menu barely shows, it is there and I have been unable to hide it using CSS, nor do I want my friend paying to upgrade the plugin every year.

WP mobile plugin was also tried, and it not only created a great menu, it also hid the theme menu. Problem is, my mobile device was the only one that would see it. My friends looked on their devices, I even went so far as to pull the site up on two other Androids that had never accessed the website…nothing. UGH

So I humbly come for help to all of you who are much smarter than I. ??

For the record, I do delete cache after every website change!

At this point, I have disabled and removed all mobile menu plugins in the hopes that the original theme can be repaired with a string of code???

If it cannot be repaired, I am also happy to hide it, and download the responsive mobile menu plugin as that did seem to work across all devices….it just left the original grey square (menu).
