• We setup a WooCommerce site last year to sell tickets to an annual event. Had no issues, worked great. Now this year we are well into sells and Stripe says they need more information to verify our account and they are holding our money hostage. I provided the information they said was missing in our account. Now they have sent an email with 2 pages of financial information they say is required. We feel that this information is none of their business plus it will take a significant amount of time and resources to pull all of this info together. We cannot contact any human at Stripe to assist us. Seems to be all AI generated responses to emails.

    I think I know the answer to this question, but will ask on the outside chance I am wrong. Is there anyway to redirect the collected sales and deposit them using another service other than Stripe?

    We are a non-profit and this is a charity event. It really stinks that they are doing this. Looking like we are going to lose money this year because we will have to hire a lawyer to settle this. Again, everything was fine last year, so why the issues now?

    It is not possible to transfer the funds that were already collected by Stripe to another gateway. But you can add a new gateway such as PayPal, Square, etc, to get any future payments.

    I understand this is a frustrating situation. I wish there was more we could do for you, but since the issue is on Stripe’s side of things, our hands are tied.
