How would I go about disabling Clearpay completely. We are predominantly B2B so the downside of confusing customers who aren’t eligible beats any upside.

I’ve tried disabling “installments” in settings, however I’m not sure this setting is relevant based on the text mentioning MX, BR.

I’ve also disabled AfterPay/ClearPay and Klarna in my Stripe account settings and disconnected then reconnected Stripe, yet the Clearpay text still shows on each product page.

I see you can disable it per product, but since we have 10,000 products this would be administration madness and a lot of needless database rows. Since I’ve disabled it in my Stripe account and reconnected, shouldn’t it pick this change up and stop displaying on the product page?

    Hi @jackpd

I’ve tried disabling “installments” in settings, however I’m not sure this setting is relevant based on the text mentioning MX, BR.

Installments are only relevant for merchants registered in MX and BR. That is not related to buy now pay later payment methods like Clearpay.

To disable the Clearpay messaging, go to the Afterpay Settings page within the Stripe plugin and in the Message Section option, remove all of the sections. We’re updating this in the next release so that when Afterpay is disabled, the message is also disabled. This was a change that was included in the last release but based on feedback, we’re changing it back to how it worked before.

Many thanks, it no longer shows.

I have to say as well, that was a crazy fast response time. I think that must be the fastest response I’ve ever hard to any support query!

    Cheers,
    Jack
