    Hi there,

I’ve noticed a discrepancy between the amount of donations raised visible on the public side of my website compared to the amount on the Dashboard. The difference between the two is exactly the amount of failed donations, so I’m assuming the public form is including those. Is there any way this can be fixed?

    Cheers,
    Scottie

    Hi, @spotteraiwc.

    Glad you reached out.

When you say the form is displaying failed donations in the totals, do you mean in the form goal itself or are you using a shortcode or block to display the goal elsewhere? Can you clarify?

Looking forward to helping you get to the bottom of this!

    Hi Matheus,

It is showing up in the form goal itself. I’ve double checked, and the higher total is even present when I try and edit the form, but it isn’t there when I am looking at the Donation Forms page on the Dashboard. You can see the difference in the totals down in these screenshots.

    Hi, @spotteraiwc.

To replicate this issue, I created a new donation form using the visual form builder. Then, I made a donation using this form to make sure it was working. The goal was filled in correctly.

Then, I changed the donation’s status from complete to pending, and the amount was removed from the goal without problems. It means it’s working as expected.

I’m happy to dig deeper into this, but I’ll need steps to replicate the issue. Unless I can reliably replicate this behavior you described, I’m relatively stuck.

Looking forward to helping you get to the bottom of this!
