Order not changing state Waiting for payment to Cancelled

This are orders that a client is starting, but on the payment process, they will not place their card and leave the page or just go back (they don’t finish the order), and so, the order is created as Waiting for payment.

Are there any error messages generated under WooCommerce > Status > Logs, when placing the orders? Were you able to replicate this issue by making test orders under your store?

Meanwhile, I’d like to understand your site properly. Please share with us your System Status Report, which you can find via WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support.

Hi!

No, there are no errors, it’s just the client will not finish the order and just leave the website. So if I start a new order, choose my payment method and when i’m redirected to the online TPV I just go back or close the website, the order will be created on “Waiting for payment” and will stay this way.

We though it was a payment process error, until we reached out the clients and they told us they didn’t finished the order and we replicate the process.

I will copy the system report (For some reason it will say we dont have the woocommerce_cart shortcode, but the shortcode is placed on the cart page

Also, I could notice you are using WooCommerce version 8.8.3. I recommend updating to the latest version 8.9.1 as some of these updates tend to address issues like the one you are facing.
