[Plugin: Blogger Importer] Blogger importer – special HTML sign problem

  • Blogger Importer V 0.3; WordPress 3.0.1. ; PHP Version 5.2.4-2ubuntu5.10

    We tried today to import my wife’s blog https://maufeline.blogspot.com/ to my webspace.

    Transfer of category & content & comments was no problem. But:

    instead of e.g.:

    <br />  ---> br /
&nbsp; --->  nbsp;
<div ...> ---> div ...

    All the <,> and & are missing and we don’t see why ??

    Does anybody have the same problems and is there maybe a workarround for it?

    I don’t have this particular problem with PHP 5.3.2 Blogger Importer V 0.3; WordPress 3.1.

    I seem to have the same problem.
    Imported my wife’s blog with blogger2wordpress, and this did ok, although took some time. Then I updated one new post using blogger import, it messed up the post and did not import the images.
    Imported from www.umahistorinhapordia.blogspot.com to www.umahistorinhapordia.com
    All posts are ok until June 30th.
