POSTMETA in message format Instagram not working

  • Hi,
    I use the message format below for Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram:

    {POSTMETA:_yoast_wpseo_metadesc}
    {POST_TAGS}
    {POST_TITLE} – {PERMALINK}

    It works on Facebook and Twitter, but on Instagram the POSTMETA is not resolved to the actual content, instead it shows the string itself: ‘{POSTMETA:_yoast_wpseo_metadesc}’ . This does work on Facebook and Twitter.

    Any thoughts on how to address this?
