My Pinterest account was deactivated because of using Pin Generator

After using Pin Generator for about 6 weeks my account got deactivated by Pinterest. My max. scheduled pins were 10-12 pins/day, increasing slowly from 4-6 pins/day for more than 3 weeks. Before using Pin Generator I scheduled 3 manually created pins/day for more than 8 months. Below is a copy of the email I received from Pinterest:

    “Hi there,

    Hi dunouv,

What may be the issue is that you are linking out to what could be considered “Dangerous goods". Namely the weight loss pill called Trimtone you are advertising.

    Pinterest’s guidelines state that:

"Pinterest isn’t a place for trading or selling of certain regulated goods—products or substances that can cause harm when used, altered or manufactured irresponsibly—or for the display or encouragement of dangerous activities. We limit the distribution of or remove such content and accounts, including:"

    - Content from or about unverified, unapproved or rogue online pharmacies

This is where I think they might be flagging you.

This is something that is automated by Pinterest and the system can get it wrong and suspend accounts in error.

If you are not in violation of any of Pinterest’s policies you can get your account turned on quickly via appeal:

Check Pinterest's community guidelines to make sure you're not breaking any rules.

Go to this page: https://help.pinterest.com/en/article/account-suspension and read the info there.

Then click the link that says “get in touch with us”. It will link you here: https://help.pinterest.com/en/contact?current_page=about_you_page&appeals=account_suspension
Complete the form and send it off to Pinterest.

They normally have an a account back up and running within 24 hours.

Remember to pin at a moderate pace, especially if your Pinterest account is brand new. I would recommend 5 pins per day to start moving up to 10 pins per day after about 10 days.

You can increase slowly from there.

Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused, I know it can be stressful and annoying.

I hope this helps you resolve the issue. If you have any other questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to me.

    Kind regards,
    Ollie

Sorry, this is not true. Actually, my Pinterest account was doing well for almost one year with my own manually created and uploaded contents. I only let your plugin reuse the images and videos that were I had already used before in my own manual process. The links were also promoted before using these images/videos.

My account was 1 year old. In the manual process I usually post 3 pins every day. I set your plugin to post 4 pins every day for the first 2 weeks, then increased to 6 pins every day for the next 2 weeks, and then to 8 pins and 12 pins every day for the next 4 weeks. Then, it got deactivated. As written above, all images/videos and links were used without any issue in my own manual posting process before switching to your plugin!

Yes, I followed your comment to contact Pinterest, but they refuse to reactivate my account. They gave Spamming as the reason for their decision. It′s obvious that your plugin is seen spamming by Pinterest.

    Best Regards

I do not work for PIngenerator and I have used the tool for almost a year without issues. However, this has happened twice to me before I started using PIn Generator, and I think it has to do with Pinning the same URL too frequently. While you were doing it manually you were probably more conscious of when and where you pinned each URL. It doesn’t matter which tool you use with Pinterest, if you pin the same URL to multiple boards too quickly you will get banned.
