I’m going to edit an existing registration form I created before.

I click on edit field and make a change to the placeholder text field.

I click on save / update.

The icon I chose for my field automatically disappears.

I click to edit field again.

The edit field window comes up but is stuck loading endlessly

No way to make changes or change the icon.

    The icons do not load.

Try to do a Theme/Plugin conflict test if your Theme
or another Plugin is causing a conflict with UM.

Ok I’ve done the plugin test and I found what is causing the issue:

It’s due to a conflict with “Custom Post Types” plugin. (https://it.www.ads-software.com/plugins/custom-post-types/).

I also have a copy / clone of my website that is running a previous version of Ultimate Member plugin (2.8.4) so I did some testing and I found that this conflict only occurs with versions later than 2.8.4.
With version 2.8.4 this conflict did not occur.

I can’t tell if the conflict started with version 2.8.5 or 2.8.6.

For the moment the only thing I can do is deactivate the “Custom Post Types” plugin, then make the changes I need to the Ultimate Member registration form, and then reactivate the plugin. Otherwise there is no way to edit the form.

Hope this helps to resolve the plugin conflict.

    Thank you @missveronicatv
