    Hello,

For some reason I needed to completely deactivate all the Woocommerce Plugins including WooCommerce itself because when I was looking in the side bar for WooCommerce it was non-existent and when I tried to click on settings under the plugins page, it said ‘you do not have access to this page.’ I am the only registered admin on my site and when I deactivated and reactivated all the WooCommerce plugins, I was able to edit WooCommerce settings again. Is this possibly because of the ‘WooCommerce database update required’ I am seeing? I previously updated this, but it seems like it may have caused this issue because when I deactivated and reactivated everything, I am now getting this WooCommerce database update required’ again and I am scared to activate it thinking it may again disable my access to WooCommerce settings on my site. Thank you in advance.

    Hi @bobbyferran

The issue you’re experiencing might be related to the “WooCommerce database update required” notification. This notification usually appears after a WooCommerce update and it’s necessary to click on it to ensure the plugin works properly.

However, it’s unusual that you’re seeing the notification again after updating. This could be due to a conflict with another plugin or a caching issue.

First, head over to WooCommerce → Status → Tools, and do the following:

    • WooCommerce transients – Clear
    • Expired transients – Clear
    • Clear template cache – Clear
    • Capabilities – Reset Capabilities
    • Clear customer sessions -Clear

Next, please clear your browser and site cache, update the database and reactivate the plugins one by one to see how it works.

If this makes no difference, you can run a conflict test to help you identify the cause of the issue. More info: https://woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/

I hope that helps! Let me know once you have done a conflict test!

Ok, right now it seems to be okay. Hopefully tomorrow will be the same.
