    Suddenly we can’t get the quotas to work even though the key is right. It says we’ve exceeded them. But nothing on the site has changed, nor has our apparent amount of hits. It’s refused to auto translate for 3 months.
    Can anyone tell us if something changed in Translatepress to cause this, like a need for higher quota settings? Or maybe point us where we can find out? Google is anything but forthcoming with ways to, get help for this and the quota stuff is hard to understand.

    Hey there,

    Thanks for reaching out to us!

    Can you send us the error message you receive when testing your API credentials?

    Here, it makes little sense since I don’t think we are getting more hits than usual.
    There was an error with your Google Translate key.

    [code] => 403
    [message] => Forbidden

    code": 403,
    "message": "User Rate Limit Exceeded",
    "errors": [
    {
    "message": "User Rate Limit Exceeded",
    "domain": "usageLimits",
    "reason": "userRateLimitExceeded"

    Hello there,

    The 403 Forbidden error is not coming from our side and you should contact Google regarding this to investigate and see what is happening.

    As the message says, you exceeded the limit of characters from the API and that’s why this won’t work.

    Check this with them and see how you can solve this.

    Have a great day!

    Kind Regards,

    I don’t suppose you know how to contact Google? I haven’t had any luck getting a person. I’ve already tried. ??
