    Hi @firelightwp,

this is just to report a console error showing in the WP Dashboard /wp-admin/ as soon as “Easy FancyBox – WordPress Lightbox Plugin” is installed and activated.

    In Firefox the error says:
    Uncaught TypeError: lightboxVersionSelect is null
    https://DOMAIN.TLD/wp-content/plugins/easy-fancybox/inc/admin.js?ver=2.1.9:3
    d jQuery
    https://DOMAIN.TLD/wp-content/plugins/easy-fancybox/inc/admin.js?ver=2.1.9:1

    In Chrome it says:
admin.js?ver=2.1.9:3 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of null (reading 'addEventListener')
    at HTMLDocument. (admin.js?ver=2.1.9:3:24)

The error is easily reproducible. Just get a fresh installation of the current WordPress version, install the plugin and look into the console on WP’s dashboard. We think you’ll want to fix this.

Thanks for your work and greetings,
    -doffine

Hi! Just wanted to confirm we’ve prepped a fix for this and it will be in the next release.

It was happening because we tried to consolidate some JS, but as a result we were running some JS for our options page on the main dashboard screen where it is not needed/applicable.

Thanks very much for the report!

Wanted to follow up and confirm that we just released the fix for this as part of 2.2.0. Please feel free to check and confirm it is resolved.

I’m going to mark this issue as resolved now, but please feel free to let us know if you have other questions.

    Thanks!
