• Hello, I need some help in order to understand how it works. If something breaks when I upgrade PHP (say 7.4 to 8.0) and the site goes blank, what is it that makes it incompatible? Is it something that one can fix autonomously or only the theme/plugin developer can intervene?

I know it’s a wannabe question but I cannot find any answers online.

    Hey there,

One thing that can be done, if you haven’t already, is deactivating all plugins to see if that resolves the issue. The other would be enabling error logging – again, if you haven’t already – to see what the error is. Do you happen to know how to do that?

hello, debugging and spotting the culprit is not a problem, but my question is: once I know the plugin that conflicts with PHP, what portion of code needs to be changed? And changed how?
