We are experiencing an issue with our WooCommerce store where the order data is not displaying in the WooCommerce > Reports section. Despite having recent orders, the reports section remains empty, which is impacting our ability to track sales and generate necessary reports.

  • Hey there, @sajjadansari! Thanks for contacting us. I’m happy to help you.

Have you made any changes to the website recently? This could be adding or removing plugins or custom code, updating the theme or plugins, etc.

Are you able to see the data if you check the Analytics tab?

Furthermore, I’d like to understand your site properly. Please share with us the necessary information below for us to investigate the issue further:

System Status Report which you can find via WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support.
Fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs. Then you can use the selector to search for Fatal Errors.
You could copy and paste your reply here or paste it via https://gist.github.com/ and send the link here.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Have a wonderful day!

We have moved our website from a demo domain to a real domain.

We have applied two codes to change the currency symbols for the UAE and Saudi currencies. We keep the rest of the plugins and theme up to date.

Hey, @sajjadansari! Thanks for the information.

The fatal errors do not seem to be related to this, but there’s quite a few related to the translations, so it might be good to check with TranslatePress’s support.

Can you try to import “Import Historical Data” from WP Admin → Analytics → Settings?

Also try going to WooCommerce > Status > Tools > Clear analytics cache > Click Clear. Then try rerunning the report.

If it’s still not working, check under WooCommerce > Status > Scheduled Actions to see if there are any stuck processes preventing the updated information from importing.

Please let us know how it goes.

    Looking forward to your reply.

We have tried WP Admin → Analytics → Settings but the Start button is showing as disabled. Screenshot: https://ibb.co/zJD83Yg

We have also tried WooCommerce > Status > Tools > Clear analytics cache > Click Clear. After clearing the cache, the reports are still not showing. We also tried exporting CSV, but the report is also coming out blank. Screenshot: https://ibb.co/gVCYdvJ

WooCommerce > Status > Scheduled Action. I do not see any errors here. If you see any errors, please let me know how to resolve them. Screenshot: https://ibb.co/G2NMrHX

    Hello sajjadansari

    Thank you for your reply.

To confirm, the WooCommerce > Reports section has not worked ever since the site was migrated to this domain. Is my understanding correct?

Do you have access to the old site from where you migrated this site?
It would be helpful to check whether the Reports are working on that site.
Can you place a few test orders to verify this.
This will clarify whether something went wrong during the migration process.

Next, could you go to the WooCommerce > Reports section and check for JS errors?
You will need to open the Console in your browser. Here is the guide for how to check JS errors.
Share screenshots of the console with me so I can review it.

Looking forward to your response. ??

    Best regards.

We did not check these reports on the demo site. After migrating the site, when orders started coming in on the live site, we checked and found that the reports were not working.

No, we do not have access to the demo site now. The hosting provider gave us the demo domain to create the site, and now the website is no longer on that demo domain.

    Hi @sajjadansari

Can you please navigate to Analytics > Settings, reset the Date type, import historical data, and check whether the reports show or not?

Let us know how that goes. Looking forward to helping you.

We have also reset to default, the start button is still disabled, and the report is still not showing.

    Hi @sajjadansari

Since resetting the date type and clearing the cache didn’t work, a deeper issue might be at play.

Since you mentioned that you have recently migrated your website, it’s possible that some data might have been lost or corrupted during the migration process. It’s also possible that the custom code you have added for the currency symbols might be causing a conflict. Here are some additional steps you can try:

    1. Sometimes, other plugins can interfere with WooCommerce’s functionality. Temporarily disable all other plugins, then check if the reports are showing. If they are, re-enable the plugins one by one until you find the one causing the issue.
    2. Similarly, your theme might be causing a conflict. Temporarily switch to a default WordPress theme like Twenty Twenty-Four, then check if the reports are showing.
    3. If you have access to your website’s database, check if the order data is actually present in the wp_wc_order_stats table. If it’s not, you might need to re-import your data.
    4. Temporarily remove the custom code you added for the currency symbols, then check if the reports are showing. If they are, there might be an issue with the code.

If none of these steps work, it might be best to get in touch with a professional developer or a WooCommerce expert who can take a closer look at your website.

Please let us know how it goes. We’re here to help you solve this issue.
