Vipps Mobilepay Checkout not working

  • Hi,
    I managed to install Vipps Mobilepay to my test site and it worked with the WooCommerce checkout page with MobilePay only.

    But once activate the “Activate Alternative Vipps Checkout” its not working any more. The cart goes to an error message and doesn’t load the Vipps Checkout page.

    My intention is to get the Finnish bank payment methods to the checkout.

    Any ideas on how to fix this? Checked the WooCommerce logs and it said:

    Hello, and thank you for the error report. The ReturnUrl is the url used to return control to your store from Vipps after the purchase – could you tell us what the URL of your site is?

    Hi,

    Ill send you a message to the support. Im just wondering as we are speaking about returning from Vipps but in this case I haven’t event gotten to the Vipps checkout before the error.

    Yes, but the error message is Vipps Mobilepay validating your return url and finding some kind of issue with it. It then refuses to start the transaction.

    This should now be resolved; the issue was too strict validation of the domain name.
