Popups for Divi – display once per visit?

  • Hello WP community,
    So I am using the plugin “Popups for Divi” and I have installed a popup on the homepage at cynthiarenee.com. After some online googling, I was able to add a code module (javascipt) to autodisplay the popup after 4 seconds (instead of hoping somebody clicks the button.) So, now it displays this popup literally EVERY time the homepage loads. This is too much of a good thing!
    Is there some way to tell it to display “once per website visit”, or “once per day”?
    Do I just need to ask a developer to refine the javascript? Or is that not possible through java?
    I am a graphic designer and not a coder…. ??
