Loopback request took all my sites down

  • Many sites are down due to my resources being drained. The Simple Calendar seems to be stuck in some kind of call request loop killing my CPU and memory on my VPS servers. All sites using your plugin are down and I can’t even log in to disable. PLEASE FIX ASAP!!

    Hi there,

    In regards to your query here, I would recommend that you carry out the following:

    1. Access your site files via FTP or your hosting panel

    2. Navigate to the wp-content > Plugins directory path

    3. Rename the directory “google-calendar-events” to “google-calendar-events-old”

    Next check whether you are able to access the sites to determine if the issue is actually being caused by the Simple calendar plugin.
