Problem of Zoom on PDFEmbedder, which premium version use?

    Hey, when zooming with PDF Embedder premium, I still have this bug with 5.2.2 or 5.1.4 (and 5.2.1 doesn’t work). I really need that people can zoom on my pdf. Can you give me a version with permits that pliz?

    The zoomed quality at the first version is a bit worse, indeed, but very readable for me. And I explained the difference in your support email and also in a different thread here on WP.org.

    I think you tried on mobile phone!? I saw there is less difference on mobile phone. My problem is on PC (chrome and edge also). Can you try too please?

    I was able to find a Windows machine to replicate the problem.

    As we are using PDF.js under the hood, we are bound to its issues as well. I found this thread which describes possible solutions which are Windows-specific and also for non-hdpi screens.

    Some quotes from that issue:

    related to your cleartype settings, maybe you could try to change your settings with the help of?support.google.com/chrome/answer/95290?hl=en.
    In Firefox, the rendering is changing when playing with the pref?gfx.font_rendering.cleartype_params.rendering_mode?in?about:config.

    Marking this thread as resolved as it seems the issue is hardware-related rather than software-related. That’s why there is a difference between my MacOS and your Windows rendering.

    I’ve tried touching this setting without success.
    The plugin integrated into WordPress allows zooming without loss of quality (and without settings on Windows).
    Should PdfEmbedder also allow this? Indeed, not all Windows visitors will make this setting to display Pdf files correctly ??

    It’s not resolved but maybe you’ll find a solution!?
