When you edit a contact form, it feels like taking you out of your site because the side menu is gone and the whole dashboard with it, why is it like this? I think most plugins don’t do that.

    Hi @lwcorp,

Thanks for reaching out with your question!

But I’m not sure if I fully understood your question, so I’d like to ask for more details. If possible, could you provide some screenshots or a video showing the issue?

Please note that WPForms proudly offers a Form Builder, which allows users to easily create and edit forms with a drag-and-drop experience. You can find more details about our Form Builder in our documentation here.

    Looking forward to your response!

Unfortunately I’ve since uninstalled upon discovering that posted entries cost money while I assumed it’s a basic free feature like in Contact Form 7.

What I meant was that as soon as I edit a form, it’s like I’m not in my WordPress anymore. It’s an exclusive plugin screen which doesn’t let me choose anything else in my WordPress.

    Hi @lwcorp,

Thanks for letting me know, and I’m sorry to hear that you uninstalled WPForms Lite from your site.

Regarding this: “It’s an exclusive plugin screen which doesn’t let me choose anything else in my WordPress.” Thanks for the clarification.

To improve the user experience when creating forms with our drag-and-drop feature, our Form Builder takes up the full screen. This helps prevent issues related to screen size.

We appreciate you taking the time to provide this feedback about WPForms, and I’ve shared your thoughts with our team. We will keep it in mind for future review in our development cycle.

For now, as a workaround if you’d like to select something on WordPress to use in your form, you can open the WPForms Form Builder in one browser tab and the WordPress Dashboard in another.

    Thanks!
