Can someone please explain this to me? Section bg image full height

  • Hi, I’ve been like an hour working with a 2 columns row: L is text and action button, R is just a bg image I want to blend with the solid color on the left, I was able to do it myself (almost) but idk why the height of the entire row is only as tall as the text on the left, but the pic on the right is far taller, so it’s cropped up and down

    I did the same with a prebuilt Pattern and it looks perfect, I compared all settings and everything seems the same so, what am I missing?
    I did notice two settings in the row settings of the Pattern and not the one I made, nor I find any way to add them (marked with red in the screenshot)

    (In the screenshot, the top is the premade pattern, bottom is the one I made and cannot make it look like the top one)

  • Hi there!

    I can’t see the section with the issue on your website. However, you might want to add the right image as the Section block’s background image instead of using an image block.

    This way, the image will fill the whole right column width. Also, background image is not considered as content, so if you need the height of the image to be taller, adjust the minimum height of either the Row Layout block or the inner Section blocks.
