    Hi,

I have activated that customers receive a free product when they do purchase above a certain amount. When they reached that level they do receive the free products. In the cart, the customer cnan change the number of free products to 100 if they want. Since it a a give away, free products if the customer buy above the set level. How can I make sure the customer cant add extra products?

I do want that the customer receive the same free gift even next time if they purchase above that amount, but they should not be able to add extra free gifts on the same order.

    Hi @stylingagenten ,

    Greetings from WebToffee Support!

Thank you for reaching out regarding the issue you are experiencing. By default, customers don’t have the provision to increase or decrease the quantity of free products beyond what is specified in the coupon settings. In order to assist you with the issue you are experiencing, could you please provide us with the following information:

    1. The coupon code and your site URL so that we can directly investigate the issue on your site.
    2. Screenshots of the coupon edit pages for the coupon you have created. Please include screenshots of all tabs of the coupon. This will help us understand the settings and configurations of the coupon.
    3. WooCommerce System Status report: You can access the System Status report in WooCommerce by navigating to WooCommerce -> Status -> Get system status report. This report provides details about your site environment and configurations.

Additionally, for troubleshooting purposes, let’s try the following steps:

    • Deactivate every plugin on your site except for Smart Coupons for WooCommerce and WooCommerce. Check whether you are able to increase the free product quantity now.
    • If the issue persists in this scenario, try switching the theme to any of WooCommerce’s default themes like Storefront and check the same.

Once we have this information, we’ll be better equipped to assist you further.

    Hi.

It is in the checkout. I have added so it is possible to change the quantity in general for products in the checkout. It must be that addon that give that ability regardless if it is a free product or not. I guess this is nothing you can solve from your end.

    Hi @stylingagenten ,

Thank you for providing us with this information. It appears that the addon currently active on your site enables the ability to change the quantity of free products in the checkout, which our plugin does not support.

Could you please share the details of this addon for future reference? This information will help us assist others experiencing similar issues in the future.

    Looking forward to your response.
