The sliders load slowly on mobile, and I couldn’t find the option under settings for autoplay. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi @wonderwooman

    As for the slow loading:

The most common reasons a slider loads slowly is the media used in it. So e.g. if you use a lot of images, or unoptimized images, that could make the downloading and the rendering of the images take longer, which could ultimately delay the loading of the slider.

So in the first place, I would suggest you to check if the media used in the slider is optimized properly. Here you can find more information about the the optimization of both the slider and the page itself:

but if you are still not sure, feel free to send us a link of the page where the slider appears and we will take a look. ( If you don’t want to share the URL of your website on this public forum, then please get in touch with us directly over the ticket system: https://smartslider3.com/contact-us/support/ and there we will give you tips regarding the optimization. )

    As for the Autoplay setting:

The “Autoplay” setting which makes the slider switch slides automatically after a given time, can be found on the “Autoplay” tab of the Slider settings:

However this is not a device specific setting, which means that the value that you set here, will be used on all devices.

If you really want the slider to autoplay in desktop view, but not in mobile view, then what you could do is creating 2 sliders, in one of them the autoplay should be enabled and in the other it should be disabled. Then you should hide each slider in the views where they shouldn’t appear. Here you can find some tips for hiding sliders:

    Best regards,
    Laszlo.
