    Hello

I am testing out this plugin and I have encountered an issue which seems like a bug.

When I first load the customiser and click on the blue pencil edit icon for any element in the preview, it turns off the preview and shows the home page of my site so I cannot see any changes in real time.

On an unrelated topic, my question is this. Your plugin allows users to upload an image as the backgound of the actual form itself, rather than the background of the page, which is exactly what I want, except that you cannot scale the image. I have an image I will be using and I want to match the position of the input fields with elements on the image. Using an image as the background of the page will move the relative positions when the device size changes so I thought I would try putting the image as the background of the form. However the default size of the form is quite small, almost a square and so I increased the size of the form so that more of the background image is seen. But then the input fields move to the far left and the far right as you can see in this screenshot https://prnt.sc/P34mYCLyYsWX, even though I have set the layout to center center (vertically and horizontally).

    Can you assist?

    Hello @stephunique,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

I was not able to replicate this behavior. It might be an issue caused by a plugin or your theme.

I recommend installing this plugin: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/health-check/

After you install and activate the above plugin it has a Troubleshooting mode that allows you to have a vanilla WordPress session, where all plugins are disabled, and a default theme is used, but only for your user – your visitors will still see the normal website.

Go to its troubleshooting mode and only activate Custom Login Page Customizer and see if it works correctly with a default WordPress theme (Twenty Twenty-One for example) and no other plugins.

Regarding the styling, can you please send us a link so we can take a look?

    Warmly,

    Beatrice.

    Hello Beatrice,

    Thank you for the reply.

First I would like to add I have WordPress 6.5.5 and Colorlib Login Customizer 1.3.2, I did not mention this before.

I did what you suggested but the same thing happened.

First I activated a default plugin, I used Twenty Twenty Two. Then I installed the plugin and activated it. I activated Colorlib Login Customiser (if I don’t there is no “enable during troubleshooting” option in the Health Check plugin troubleshooting mode), went to the Health Check plugin troubleshooting mode, enabled only the Colorlib login customiser plugin, tried to customise it and after clicking on the blue pencil twice, the login customiser disappeared. Would you like log in access to my site to see it for yourself?

    Hi @stephunique,

I also asked one of my colleagues to test this and everything is running smoothly on her end.

Can you please deactivate and delete the plugin and upload and activate it again afterward.

Let me know if it helps!

    Warmly,

    Beatrice.

    Hi Beatrice,

It worked properly after I deleted the plugin and re-installed and activated it, thank you!
