    The code in the file that you’ve shared comes from the Action Scheduler library. We utilize this library in our plugin for background tasks. Also, this library is bundled with WooCommerce and many other popular plugins. Shared code is executed in the cron job, so it shouldn’t affect Admin page performance.

    Can you try to disable WP Mail SMTP and measure performance again, please? If you get better results, it could indicate that probably your server doesn’t support non-blocking remote requests which are utilized by WP-Cron. In such case, we would suggest reaching out to your hosting provider to set up the system cron.
