Social Button background color

  • In the Gutenberg block editor I add a social button , custom link , this displays as grey with white font. Unreadable.

    I tried to set custom css in the block editor either color or background-color but neither seems to produce results.

    How can I change either the background or foreground text color of the custom link the social button block?
