Bootstrap – update?

    Hi,

    I am using Hestia as a parent theme and our IT team has found security issues with the used bootstrap version. According to the code Hestia uses bootstrap 3.3.7.
    The current version of bootstrap is 5.1.3

    I tested a simple update by overwriting the bootstrap files, but the navigation and home page broke after this.

    Will there be an update to a more current version of bootstrap?

    Hi,

    No, for the moment there will be no update, as the development team made sure there are no vulnerabilities in what is used in Hestia.
