    Overnight I received emails telling me that the firewall had been disabled on dozens of our websites. Not one of those was correct. None of the websites I checked had the firewall turned off.
    These are websites that are hosted at WPengine. My client is asking for an explanation.
    Was there something that happened with Wordfence or do I need to look on the hosting side?

    Hi @wweaver,

    Thank you for reaching out. This was an issue on WPEngine due to a recent change they made. Several hours ago WPEngine initiated a deploy to revert the changes that caused this. WPEngine reported they should be fully done reverting the changes by 2 pm EST, so any disabled firewalls should work again by 2 pm EST at the latest.
