Suggestion: Catalog sort

    Not really a question, but a remark/suggestion…

    On the catalog page, the default order is based on upload date/time. But when (a part of) the catalog is uploaded via a csv, there can be multiple items with the same timestamp.
    For an descending timestamp, a descending ‘post ID’ could be more logical.

    PS: Please remove when not useful here ??

    Hi @alaincloet,

    Thank you for the suggestion but with sorting by date you can adjust the order easily by changing the product date.

    The same timestamp issue is solved with the Product CSV extension. We will look at the default importer to solve this issue too.

    Custom Product Order extension has an option to make the default order by ID.
