Suggestions for Plugin/Database Setup

  • I need to setup a product database that allows for searching and displaying results based on one or more of the fields in the table. I would also like it to allow users to rate products and enter comments that would be saved to the database. It would change each year for each event. This year I will just be importing the data from a spreadsheet, but in the future I would like to have my users enter the information for their products for each event using a form.

    I’ve been looking and see some things that could help, but am wondering if anyone has a good suggestion for such a product database within a WordPress site, especially a solution that will allow me to have my users enter their data next year via a form (this year I will just need to import my data from the spreadsheet/csv).     Thanks for the detailed response. I’ll take a look at these options/suggestions. I’d hoped there might be something that could combine most if not all of the needs into one solution, but realize that was probably wishful thinking.
