I’ve just added MailPoet to our site to collect subscribers and send out news, seems to be great so far.

However, I also have Contact Form 7 and WP Mail SMPT in order for guests to contact us. I had to disable WP Mail as it was interfering with MailPoet but now I have no way for someone to contact us. I’ve tried to create the contact form in MailPoet but it requires the email to be put on a list, which is not what I want.

I kinda need both a subscriber list AND a contact form.

    Help?

    Hi there @sandyfischler ,

    Thanks for reaching out!

I imagine you are using Contact Form 7 and WP Mail SMTP to send transactional emails such as the form submissions, right?

If that’s the case, you can leave WP Mail SMTP deactivated and use MailPoet to send you transactional emails on top of your newsletters and other marketing emails.

Just head to MailPoet > Settings > Advanced, and next to “Send all site’s emails with…” select “The current sending method” option.

That will set the sending method you are using with MailPoet to send not only your form submissions but orders-related emails (if you use WooCommerce), login/registration emails, etc.

    I hope this helps!

Thank you, somehow I missed that setting. I’ll give that a test run!
