Hi, first of all I must say, I really enjoy this plugin – so far it has been working well for me. I am now however experiencing an issue and it’s more than likely because I dont have my settings correct.

I have a product with 8 variations. I need to set a MOQ of 8 on that product – so meaning that they need to purchase of a minimum of 8 and it can be any combination of the variations – as long as at check out they have a minimum of 8. Naturally for purchases more than 9 there is discounts too

I am really battling to get the settings right – if I enter a MOQ of 8 – then the plugin expects each of the variations to be 8.

How can I set the MOQ of 8 but still have them add one of each variation? I have tried settings at product level as well as pricing rules – but it’s still not working for me.

Let me also just add that I have tried toggling the setting under Woocommerce settings:

“Consider product variations as one product”

and no matter what the setting on or off – it still doesnt allow the customer to add variations and have a minimum of 8 before checkout

    Hello @mommaroodle,

“Consider product variations as one product” option is responsible for tiered pricing calculations, not for quantity limits.

Quantity limits (min, max, and group of) work individually per product. It adjusts the add-to-cart quantity field and does not allow the wrong quantity to be added to the cart.

Technically, the plugin should allow adding any product quantity to the cart but does not allow proceeding to the checkout, showing some notice on the cart, and many other nuances. Unfortunately, the functionality you described is too advanced for a “tiered pricing” plugin, where this is a side feature.

You should consider using 3rd-party quantity limits plugins for this functionality.
