• I was poking around my WordPress page and I went into edit one and was met with a pop-up I haven’t seen before with 3 options:

    Build from Scratch
    Choose a Premade Layout
    Clone Existing Page

There was no option to get past this without clicking one of the button so I just clicked on “Build from Scratch” and that ended up deleting all the content from my page automatically. Now I see nothing on the page except the footer. I can’t seem to find a way to restore a previous version of the page but know there must be a way to do so. Any advice? (I am awful at WordPress)

use a backup copy of your website to restore it to a time prior to the accidental change.

That was my hope, but I have no idea how to do that. Google searches have suggested going into “revisions” in the publish menu but I do not have a revisions link in my publish window.

Lisa was referring to a complete backup of your website. If you don’t have one yourself, ask your hoster’s support.

Ah yes, I am hoping that’s last resort but looking more likely that that may be the only option. Thank you!
