Hi @foreverozone – this plugin is included by default in all WordPress installs (it’s a long story) so it won’t be there because of any malicious action.

If you already know your site was hacked – it may be there because of a fresh install of WordPress being initiated – or it may just have been there all along. If you’re really concerned about being hacked – I recommend reaching out to your host for their support.

    Thanks for the reply Jorde.

I’m assuming I had my WP account hacked because when I try to log into WP. It says another user is already logged in and I’m the only admin. The exact message is:

This WordPress.com account is already connected to another user on this site. Please login to another WordPress.com account to complete the connection.

How cam my website be connected to another user and my WP account not log in unless I was hacked?

    Hi @foreverozone

This WordPress.com account is already connected to another user on this site. Please login to another WordPress.com account to complete the connection.

That is a WordPress.com blog, which we really can’t help with here.

To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and www.ads-software.com are two different entities: https://www.ads-software.com/support/article/wordpress-vs-wordpress-com/

WordPress.com has complete documentation and support contacts at https://support.wordpress.com/ – they’ll be able to help by checking your account/site specifically.
