Login admin works only in private window

  • Hi community.
    I’ve been exploring WP for a longtime now.
    But there’s something I cannot resolve.
    WHY my admin users are not able to connect in normal tab in any navigator ?
    I do have to use private window.
    I tried in 5 navigators, in mac, in windows…
    same.
    I tried to debug for sure.
    cannot find,
    This drives me crazy !!

  • This sounds like a local problem on your computer. Have you tried it on another computer, perhaps on your cell phone?

    And by “navigator” do you mean a browser? Which one? Do you have any add-ons that prevent login in the normal browser window?

    And apart from your local computer to WordPress: do you have a security plugin active there and if so, which one?

    yes sorry navegator is browser.
    I tried with all (chrome, safari, firefox, Brave, opera) my mac, another mac, my iphone, another windows and android. from different IP
    same problem.
    only works in private mode ….
    I tried by disabling security plugin. same. of course I emptied all caches( cloudflare, hosting, wp, browser)

    this is a mystery !

    Deactivate all plugins as a test and switch to a standard theme. Then delete all cookies from your browser and try to access the login normally. If this works, one of the deactivated things was to blame.

    If that doesn’t work either, it has to do with the hosting or Cloudflare. I would first recommend asking Cloudflare support about this.

    So weird
    with 2024 theme and none of plugin activated. no cache.
    only work with private mode browser activated.
    will ask to cloudflare.
    I didn’t have any problem 3 weeks ago !
    and did not changed anything in my config.

    really, I am the only one like this !!
