How do you link to a specific image in a gallery?
Specifically, I want the lightbox for that gallery to open, but the lightbox opens on a specific image in that gallery’s lightbox.

For example:

Image1 > Image2 > Image3 > Image4

https://domain/page#image3

I was able to get this to work somewhat. If I use this format https://domain/platform/#!https://domain/wp-content/uploads/2024/07/Screenshot-144549.png Posted that link in the browser or opening in a new tab, it works without issue. However, If I use that URL in a link — link — the image does not load.

It also appears to be generating a different lightbox with linking to a hyperlink. But in new window, new tab, cut/paste directly into browser URL, all open properly. Just can’t get it to work inside of a page.

Great to hear that you were able to get it to work somewhat. Right now, we’re really close to a new major release of the Robo Gallery plugin, which will include many new features, grids, and lightboxes. In this upcoming release, we’ve implemented new navigation and image sorting tools, such as multi-level albums and direct linking via hashtags.

Additionally, deep linking has been implemented in the current gallery version to support social sharing of photos directly from the gallery lightbox. Our team is working diligently on testing and fixing any remaining issues to ensure a smooth experience. This big release is just around the corner, so please keep an eye out for updates. If you have any other questions or need further assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re here to help!
