Delete a post or topic

  • Hello,
    I would like to know if it is possible to delete a topic or comments. In some posts I have uploaded images from my website that needs to be private but google shows them in Google Images, which does not interest me at all. I have deleted them from my website but they still appear. Do you know if it is possible to remove them from the post? Or if deleting my user would disappear the topics created by me? Thanks in advance.

    You can use Removal Tool in Google Search Console to request removal of any image or page of your site from Google’s search index.

    You must remove pages and images from your site so that they are no longer accessible when you call them up. If the GoogleBot then returns a 404 status (aka “not found”), Google knows “oh, the URL no longer exists” and removes it from its own index after a while. However, depending on how well your website is/was listed, this while can be more or less long.

    Unfortunately, I don’t know which account/user you are referring to with your query. When it comes to your access to your WordPress project, it doesn’t matter. If it’s about access to your hosting, you would delete your entire website by deleting it. In this case, Google will also need some time to recognize this change.

    The above-mentioned removal tool from Google can help to remove individual content from the Google index more quickly.
