Some ideas I′d like to share after having created dozens of slideshows…
1. It takes too much time to wait for the “Select a custom theme” button when creating/editing a slideshow. And after entering/editing the slideshow name in the meantime, it is being overwritten by default/former name.
2. A good solution anyway would be an settings selection for a default theme, as this would the most common usecase.
Another useful global setting would be for the “Add slideshow” modal window when editing a page or post: “Show the recent published slideshow first”. And maybe an option for sorting the list alphabetical or chronological. This could also be an option to be saved to profile preferences.3. The modal window mentioned before should be refreshable as all entries are cached and new slideshows are not listed (until reloading post.php).
4. Kind of annoying: Auto-Scroll to bottom after adding slides. I don′t even see what the purpose of this effect may be… this does not help with anything.
5. There should be global settings and profile settings saving for sorting the list on /admin.php?page=metaslider
6. “Saving slideshow” (top right button) should only be active (executable) when changes are made, otherwise it should be grey (like “Add CSS” in free version).
