Malformed breadcrumb

    One of my post titles contains HTML tags whose purpose is to italicize a word from a foreign language using <em> tags. This is working great all over the site, except for the AIOSEO breadcrumbs. It is outputting the <a>tag and not closing it even though I have the setting to Link Current Item turned off. Is there a way to tell AIOSEO to ignore or strip the HTML <em>tags?

    Here is how it looks:

    Home ? Cat Title ? <a href=”https://website.com/cat-title/post-title.html&#8221; title=”Foreign Word and the Rest of the Title”>Foreign Word and the Rest of the Title

    Other info: using shortcode in GeneratePress element to add the breadcrumb to generate_inside_site_container hook.
