• As the Founder of a wildlife conservation non-profit, I wrote to UM requesting details regarding possible services and support offered to non-profits.

    What I received was a dismissive response, not only informing us that UM do not offer such services or support to non-profits, but doing so in an unnecessarily adversarial manner.

    My email was polite. Our intent is to save endangered wildlife and ecosystems, not make what UM have chosen to interpret as some form of insult to UM. The UM reply was unnecessary, unwarranted, and rude.

    We will not be recommending UM to anyone. Our advice; think twice before choosing this team to work with. We will also be recommending another partner of ours, a payment gateway, who works with UM that, to protect their brand and reputation, they consider terminating their relationship with this UM.

    To UM – if this is your attitude to a simple enquiry from a wildlife conservation nonprofit, then frankly, you do not deserve to retain any customers or partners yourselves, with this approach to potential new business.

    We are used to being refused support. We are used to being insulted for what we do. However your attitude is one of the worst we have encountered for some time. You are a disgrace.
