Just installed WP and can’t install any plugins

    Just did a fresh install and can’t install ANY plugins. Permissions are set to 755 and 644 but can’t create directories or copy files. Any thoughts?

    Errors such as “Installation failed: Could not copy file. worker/publickeys/partner10.pub”

    and “Installation failed: Could not create directory.”

    Thanks for the quick reply. I figured it out and it was none of your (excellent) suggestions. Instead, I use IONOS for my hosing and I have “unlimited” storage, BUT there is a limit to the number of files 264k or so. I exceeded the limit. I deleted a few test sites I had put up and now all is fine.
