    Hello,

    I have noticed that when changing the product picture on an item and reusing the name, the picture is not updated in the WooCommerce Android app. I have tried clearing the cache on the WooCommerce site and regenerating thumbnails. On the phone, I have also deleted the cache. However, the picture of the item in the Android app is still the old one. Where is that picture fetched from?

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @janwarming this is due to cache on the server most of the time and if using an offload media configuration some of the time. But mostly cache. If you choose to use the same name then you need to regen the image by using a specific app NOT the WooCommerce backend regen. Often times that won’t cut it. Once you do that then clear the cache and clear your browser on your mobile device.

    Hi @janwarming,

    I understand you’re having an issue with an outdated product image appearing on your WooCommerce Android app.

    Based on your description, this may be due to image caching on the server side or within the app itself.

    The product image displayed in the WooCommerce Android app is fetched from your WordPress Media Library. When you update an image on your WooCommerce site, it should automatically update in the app as well.

    I understand you’ve already cleared the cache on your WooCommerce site and regenerated thumbnails, it’s possible that the Android app is still holding onto the old image in its own cache. I would recommend you log out of the app and then log back in. This should force the app to fetch the latest data from your WooCommerce site, including the updated product image.

    Let us know how it goes.

    @serafinnyc it works from webpages, it is only in the WooCommerce app on android i have the problem.

    @ckadenge I have already tried cleared the cache on the android app, and only one out of 3 items show the old picture now. I have tested from 2 different android devices, both devices shown the old picture for that single item.

    Hi @janwarming,

    Just curious, were you able to ask your host to clear any server side caches for you? Also, if possible, try uninstalling the app and reinstall it and see if this makes any changes to the images.

    Let us know how it goes.

    @ckadenge) I’m the hosting provider, I have my own server. Please keep in mind, it is only a problem in the WooCommerce app, not on webpages.

    @serafinnyc thank you.
