[Plugin: Contact Form 7] Send copy of email to original requester?

    I’m loving Contact Form 7, but need to know if it’s possible to add a checkbox (or make it happen automatically) so that someone filling out the form can opt to send a copy of the email to themselves.

    I see there is something called Mail 2 in the form settings, but I’m not sure how it functions. I set up a form to test if this was something that would send a copy, but so far all I’ve received was the initial submitted form, nothing else.

    Hi,
    I haven’t ever tried this, but this could work. Check your form to see what the fieldname of their email address is. In mine, it’s “your-email”. Very default (and SO clever!). If it is, try this but in your “To:” field. Obviously, use stuff that applies to your site.

    [email protected], [your-email]

    This is exactly what I’m trying to accomplish…. sending a copy of the form with a opt box. Did you ever find a solution?

    “Email (2)” section enable you to send the email to another recipient, for example, the requester. Simply specify his address in the “TO” field ([your-email] shortcode, or maybe “[email protected]”).

    There isn’t any “don’t send me the email” option, as far as I know.
