    Hello WooCommerce community,

I’m facing a critical issue with importing a large number of products (104,551 rows in a CSV file) to my WooCommerce store. Due to the ongoing situation in Ukraine, we experience frequent power outages, which repeatedly interrupt the import process.

    Current situation:

    • Using WooCommerce on WordPress for e-commerce
    • Need to import 104,551 products from a CSV file
    • Import process keeps getting interrupted due to power outages
    • Using a desktop PC, which shuts down immediately when power is cut
    • When power returns, I have to restart the import from the beginning

    What I’ve observed:

    • The import file seems to be uploaded to the web hosting first
    • Despite this, the import stops when I go offline

    What I need:

An effective solution that allows the import to continue even when my local computer is offline or powered down. Ideally, the import process should run entirely on the server-side, independent of my local internet connection or power status.

    Questions:

    • Is there a way to make the import process fully server-side?
    • Are there any plugins or tools designed for large imports in unstable network conditions?
    • Can the import process be set up to automatically resume from where it left off after an interruption?

Any advice or solutions would be greatly appreciated. This issue is significantly impacting our ability to launch our e-commerce store.

Thank you in advance for your help!

    Hi @mswebadm,

Thank you for reaching out to us about this situation. We’re sorry to learn about it and we understand the importance of being able to bulk upload your products reliably in such conditions.

We do have an advanced product csv import suite that could work for you, that is our Product CSV Import Suite for WooCommerce. I just did a quick test by uploading a file and closing my tab entirely and my products still uploaded quickly and reliable. You can also choose to upload your file to your server and run the importer from it instead of from your computer.

To learn how to use this importer, you can download the sample file and set up your products accordingly with it. You can also check the documentation here to learn more.

Keep in mind, if you want to try our products, you can leverage our 30-day refund policy. In a nutshell, it gives you 30 days to try it out, and if the product doesn’t work the way you need or you think another product would work better, we are more than happy to offer a full refund. You’ll find the details of [our refund policy here](https://woocommerce.com/refund-policy/).

    Cheers!
    -OP
