Hi, Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. This product has all of the landscape aspect ratio images from Audubon’s Birds of North America, so there’s about 200 terms. Only those from #338 are visible. If I scroll up and try to delete #294, it just returns me to the original view and doesn’t delete it.

Thanks for sharing the video!

It looks like you’re using the new product editor, which is currently in beta. Could you please go to WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced > Features and disable the new product editor? After that, try opening the product in the editor again and see if you still face the same issues in the attributes tab.

The interface in the video shows you’re using Gutenberg (blocks editor) to edit your products, not the classic WooCommerce editor (but not the product editor beta either).

Can you tell us if you have a plugin or code snippet to modify the product edit page as such, and if so, which one? As this doesn’t seem to be the default WooCommerce experience, which may cause this conflict.

Additionally, can you try editing your products with the default WooCommerce editor and see if it makes any difference? I tried replicating this without success in the WooCommerce default editor.

Finally, please let us know if your WordPress and WooCommerce are up to date.

Hi, If you’ve been doing this for a while, you wait for the .1 version of wordpress and that just came out. I deactivated all the plugins, installed the classic editor. No change. Same behavior.

The one unusual thing about this site is that it’s huge. One attribute has 5,200 terms.

The classic editor is not needed to edit the products in the regular WooCommerce interface.

To confirm, WooCommerce was the only plugin active when you tried and you still saw the same interface if you went to Products > Click on a product to edit it?

Can you please share a screenshot of what you see on WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced > Features?

Can you also please share the System Status Report which you can find via WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support so we can take a look?

Ok. I just moved to the block editor and never looked back. Yes, I deactivated everything but woocommerce. It’s the storefront theme, no custom php. I tried pasting an image into this but it just sits there and spins.

Analytics and Order Attribution are checked and that’s it.

The issue is that the video you shared with us is not the regular WooCommerce interface. After testing on my website I noticed it is not even the beta interface we mentioned before.
So there’s something interfering with this an we need to figure out what is it ??

So just to confirm 100%:

When you had the Storefront theme and only Woo active you still saw this interface when going to Products > Click on a product to edit it?

The regular interface should look like this:

There’s a logo for “design library” on your interface. I did not find any plugins with that name. Do you know what is it from?

You don’t have enough terms and/or the names are too short to over-fill the window, so you can’t replicate the problem.

I tried replicating this, and I can confirm it gets glitchy when the attribute list is too long and it gets bigger than the viewport. Here’s a video with some of the tests I made: https://share.zight.com/5zuKzRRd.

I find that when I click on one of the attributes to remove them, the cursor jumps to the end of the list, and the attribute I clicked doesn’t get removed. However, I found out that clicking on it again does remove it. Not ideal, but it’s a workaround. Can you also test this? In your video, I see that you only tried once with #294.

Also, I can confirm what you mentioned: zooming out on the browser and making the viewport bigger does work to remove them at once, so that’s another viable workaround!

That being said, thank you so much for bringing this to our attention. With this in mind, I’ve opened a GitHub report for our developers to look into. You can follow it here: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/50041 (look at that, we almost get the …42!).
