Editing Sidebar-take out a section

I am trying to take out the Advertising section of this sidebar because the template I am using is not compatible with Ad-minister in the 3.0.1 format. I am using a different Advertising plugin but i need to get rid of this pre-made ad section of my sidebar. when i try to take it out it deletes all the other items below it in the sidebar. this is the code from my sidebar template.
