• I purchased the Pro version of this very useful plugin and I wanted to display some of the news items in a widget at the top of the right-hand lateral column of the website. I tried using a carousel display with the following shortcode in a shortcode widget:

    [wp_links_page display=”carousel” num=”3″ pager=”pagination” load_more=”View More” num=”3″ slides=”1″ slide_scroll=”1″ autoplay=”false” infinite=”true” orderby=”date” img_size=”thumbnail” title=”display” title_style=”font-weight: bold; “]

However, I have two main problems:

    (1) This works fine when viewing the website on a computer. However, on a mobile or tablet, all of the widgets below the WP_links widget disappear or become seemingly invisible.
    (2) The limit of 3 items to display is not respected. It displays all of the news items.

I have disabled this widget for the moment because of the problem, but I can enable it if necessary.

    Thank you for your help.

    Hello Alan,

Try removing a couple of vars from the shortcode, try this:

    [wp_links_page display=”carousel” num=”3″ slides=”1″ slide_scroll=”1″ autoplay=”false” infinite=”true” orderby=”date” img_size=”thumbnail” title=”display” title_style=”font-weight: bold; “]

Let me know if this helps

Thank you Rico. I’m afraid it didn’t change anything. In fact, even if I put the “carousel” lower in the column, everything still appears blank on mobile view.

I’d be happy to use the “list” mode, but when I do that, it displays a page sequence and “next page”, but if I click on page 2 or next page, it refreshes the whole page and always displays the same first page.

    Best regards,

    Alan

    Hi Rico,

I will do so, but I already wrote originally on the website and seemingly didn’t get any answer.
