• Images that I set “Align Right” (or to left-align) are sticking out into margins.
The text only wraps around the image on a narrow screen.

I’ve had this issue since switching to theme twenty twenty-four.

Example: the pencils image near the top of
The table of contents also sticks out into the white space at the right

In the site editor>layout, I have CONTENT 750px and WIDE 750px
And for the post’s template I have “Inner blocks use content width” (I’ve tried changing this to set different widths but it makes no difference).

    I’m grateful for any pointers

  • Although this is weird. A workaround that I can suggest is to insert the group block and within group block insert the image.

Click on image block > click on three dots > click on “Group”

Thanks a million Samuel, as your suggestion has worked (I’ve used it on the image of chopped veg, further down the page).

I’ve not applied the fix to the image with the pencils, as I’m curious to know if others are having this issue with wordpress theme 2024

I see it. Glad I could help. We will mark this topic as resolved then.

By the way you also need to update the image with pencils.

Thanks! Do you think it’s a bug within the wordpress 2024 theme and if so is there a place I should flag it up?
